Having already played to wide acclaim a variety of real-life characters ranging from Mozart to H.G. Wells to British Prime Minister Tony Blair (twice, recently in Stephen Frears's Oscar-nominated The Queen), casting the chameleon actor as British talk show host David Frost in the play Frost/ Nixon would appear to be nothing if not a logical choice. Given the play's success on London's West End last year, it also looks to have been an inspired one.
