LOS ANGELES--It seems fitting that more than a century after renowned English novelist H.G. Wells published his science fiction classic The Time Machine, his great-grandson should bring Wells' time- travel novel to the big screen.
But Simon Wells says he was drawn to the $70 million project because of the endless possibilities that the story offered visually- -not because of the family connection.
