Chapter 18 The Invisible Man Sleeps
The invisible man took great precautions to see that the doors and
windows of the bedroom were secure. He warned Dr. Kemp about possible
betrayal, but Kemp gave his word on the matter. Alone outside the locked
bedroom, Dr. Kemp meditated on the possibility of becoming invisible. There
are invisible creatures in the sea, he thought, and what if a man were made of
