The Time Traveller soon acquired the same revulsion for the Morlocks that
the Eloi had. As the moon was soon to pass through its final quarter, the
Traveller realized that the nights would become darker and possibly the
Morlocks would be more in evidence. Uneasy and insecure, he increased the
range of his explorations about the countryside, observing in the distance a
great bluish-green building, oriental in appearance, and surely having once
