THE victim cowers in fear as Dracula leans over her ready to take a bite.

But this is not Hammer Horror Dracula - in a new version at a Birmingham school Dracula is Asian and the story is multicultural.

Students at King Edward VI Five Ways School are performing in a new version of the popular Bram Stoker vampire story, but are bringing in a whole range of additional elements.

Alongside the action there is Asian music, martial arts, dance and a blend of languages including Farsi, Hindi and English.
