NEW RELEASES: "Bram Stoker's Dracula" (Columbia Tristar) -- Francis Ford Coppola's re-telling of the Dracula story symbolizes everything that is good and bad about contemporary filmmaking. It's grand, opulent, colorful, redundant, recycled and self-indulgent. Despite marvelous sets and designs, this film lacks the horror and drama associated with Bram Stoker's classic story. It's too hip to be terrifying. Frankly, I'd rather see "Love at First Bite" with George Hamilton, again. At least that was funny.
