With "Bram Stoker's Dracula" opening tomorrow, Loews Theatres has decided to use the hoopla for a good cause. And Drac would be pleased.
A blood drive will be held at the Evergreen Theatre, 9740 S. Western in Evergreen Park, from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday, and at the Hillside Square Theatre, 4500 Frontage Rd., Hillside, from 4 to 9 p.m. Nov. 23.
LifeSource Blood Services, a nonprofit organization, is looking for donors 17 and older, over 110 pounds and in good health. Serving patients in six counties, LifeSource provides more than 400,000 units of blood a year to over 55 area hospitals.
