WHENEVER horror is mentioned, there are two books which really stand out: Frankenstein and, of course, Dracula.
Bram Stoker's blood-thirsty Transylvanian Count has been played by everyone from screen horror legend Bela Lugosi (1931) to Gary Oldman and Christopher Lee.
Not only did Lee play the role for Hammer studios six times, he also appeared in 1970's Count Dracula, a European co-production directed by master of the genre Jess Franco.
