A copy of Bram Stoker's novel Dracula has been identified as a valuable first edition after being found among a late spinster's library during a house clearance in Yorkshire.
The book is believed to have been given as a present to a heiress at Christmas 1898.
Northallerton Auctions found a large number of books in the front room of the property between Northallerton and Darlington and called in an expert to find out if there were any valuable ones.
