A North-east hotel which has staked its place in horror history is up for sale.
The Kilmarnock Arms, at Cruden Bay, was a favourite haunt of author Bram Stoker, who stayed there while researching his 19th- century classic Dracula.
Legend has it that the inspiration for the Transylvanian home of the vampire count was Slains Castle, on cliffs at the edge of the picturesque Buchan village.
Now the Bridge Street hotel is being sold by leading business agents Christie and Co at offers over pounds595,000.
