Three previously unpublished letters from William Faulkner to Ben Wasson are held by the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center at the University of Texas in Austin. The letters are undated, but were written in 1924 as Faulkner completed work on his first book, 'The Marble Faun.' Topics discussed in the letters include Faulkner's position as a post-office worker, his attempts at getting published and his admiration for the literature of Sherwood Anderson.
