"Intimate Visions: The Photographs of Dorothy Norman," is an
exhibit of 125 vintage black-and-white prints on display in the Alfred
Stieglitz Gallery of the Philadelphia Museum of Art through Sept. 11.

Norman, born in Philadelphia, began shooting in the 1930s, and over
the years photographed Marc Chagall, John Marin, Sherwood Anderson,
Albert Einstein, Richard Wright, Jawaharlal Nehru, and others. She ...
