Stirring up fear, discussion/ 'Frankenstein' to be read this summer

When "Frankenstein" strolls into town this summer, let's hope he gets a better reception than the monster who was featured in the book by that name.

The classic tale by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley will be the focus of the 2003 All Pikes Peak Reads project, a community reading and discussion of a single book, it was announced Wednesday.

Last year's pick, "To Kill a Mockingbird," engaged about 25,000 local readers, estimates Dee Vazquez, project director from the organizing entity, the Pikes Peak Library District.
