The shortlist for the BBC Four Samuel Johnson Prize for Non-Fiction has been announced and it includes UK author and playwright Alan Bennett.
Bennett has been shortlisted for his collection of prose Untold Stories.
According to the BBC, the other shortlisted texts are Postwar by Tony Judt, Bad Faith by Carmen Callil, The Sale of the Late King's Goods by Jerry Brotton, 1599: A Year in the Life of William Shakespeare by James Shapiro and The Orientalist by Tom Reiss.
