The longlist for the GBP30,000 Samuel Johnson Prize has been announced and it includes the blog of an anonymous university graduate in Iraq.

The blog, entitled Baghdad Burning and written under the pseudonym of Riverbend, is published by Marion Boyars, an independent publisher, and tells the story of three years of occupation in Baghdad.
