Scratching around the dog and cat letter box, Wild Things discovered a spate of troublesome barking poodles and urinating cats in Long Island, N.Y., reminding me of the classic Ring Lardner story Dogs. ``When people ask me do I like dogs, I say I'm crazy about them,'' Lardner wrote, ``and I think they are all right in their place but it ain't Long Island.'' We'll address these behavior troubles in a future column.
