Literature students in Cornwall will have the chance to pursue their postgraduate research thanks to a new bursary offered by the Q Fund Trust.

It was created as a tribute to one of Cornwall's famous literary sons, Sir Arthur Quiller-Couch, a critic and novelist who published under the pen name of Q.

Now postgraduate students at the University of Exeter's Tremough Campus in Penryn will benefit from the cash grants to continue their studies into literature. The new one-year award of pounds250 will be awarded to the most promising research proposal from students for their final dissertations.
