MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 7, 2001

PLATO Learning, Inc. (NASDAQ:TUTR) today announced revenues for first quarter of fiscal year 2001 totaling $9.8 million, a $2.3 million, or 30% increase over the $7.5 million reported for the comparable period of fiscal 2000. Exclusive of a special charge associated with the planned retirement of Mr. Roach, the Company's founder and previous Chairman and CEO, the net loss for the first quarter of 2001 was $1.6 million, or $0.19 per diluted share, compared to a net loss of $1.5 million, or $0.23 per diluted ...
