Star-crossed "Diff'rent Strokes" actress Dana Plato, who fought a losing battle with the bottle and drugs off and on for years, has been found dead from an apparent accidental overdose in Moore, Okla.

Plato, 34, apparently took the painkiller Loritab along with Valium on Saturday while visiting the home of her fiance's parents.

"The death appears to be an accidental overdose. We don't suspect suicide," police Sgt. Scott Singer said yesterday.
