Mr. Smith steps down from full-time position but remains in active advisory role
MINNEAPOLIS -- PLATO Learning, Inc. (NASDAQ:TUTR), a leading provider of K-adult computer-based and e-learning solutions, has announced that David W. Smith would be resuming his position as Chairman of the Board, stepping down as Executive Chairman effective May 31, 2007.
Mr. Smith joined the board of directors in early 2004 and stepped in as interim CEO in November 2004. Mr. Smith lead the nationwide search and board selection of PLATO Learning's current CEO Michael Morache in March 2005. ...
