PLATO Learning, Inc. today announced that Sleepy Eye Elementary School in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, is the winner of the first William R. Roach Learning Technology Center Annual Award Program, named in honor of the founder and former President and Chairman of PLATO Learning, who passed away on February 12, 2003. Through the grant, Sleepy Eye Elementary will receive a complete educational technology lab, including state of the art hardware, award-winning PLATO Learning software, professional development, and technology support.
