The Pennsylvania Democratic Party issued the following news release:

Pennsylvania Democratic Party Chairman T.J. Rooney today announced that Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge John Milton Younge was nominated by the Democratic State Committee for Superior Court.

Younge will run as a Democrat for the seat vacated by Justice Michael Thomas Joyce, who withdrew his name from consideration to be retained for a 10-year term due to charges of insurance fraud.

He is a Philadelphian who was elected to a 10-year term on the Court of Common Pleas in 1995 and was re-elected in 2005. Prior to his ...
