John, who wrote the Book of the Apocalypse, heard in Heaven. Perhaps such a
voice could have protected Adam and Eve from the Fiend who has come to tempt
them. Satan does not rejoice at the speed with which he has traveled to the
earth nor at the evil he is planning. For the evil has already begun to recoil
upon him. His thoughts are troubled. They remind him of the Hell that is
