Martin Luther King Jr. would have been 72 this month, and throughout January from sea to shining sea, this country honors the man and his legacy. A new president also takes office this month, and this is a month and a new century that call us to the task of relearning from King how to advance and protect the lives and rights of Black folks. Check your city for special events honoring King. The King family and King Center encourage supporters of King's Dream to give a day of service in honor of his work and life.
