GREENSBORO -- A bust of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. hovered over a sidewalk Friday morning, drawing stares from a small crowd that gathered to watch the monument settle into a new home.

It was the end of a short trip for the monument, which moved less than a mile up Martin Luther King Jr. Drive from the headquarters of the now-defunct nonprofit Project Homestead.
