The city of Fort Lauderdale issued the following news release:
The City of Fort Lauderdale is proud to join with the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Committee for a full day of events promoting unity in our community on Monday, January 15, 2007.
City Hall will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2007 in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. There will be no interruption to City of Fort Lauderdale sanitation services on Monday, January 15, 2007.
