Beautiful, imposing.

No, that's the American Bowling Congress building.

Next door. To the north.

Yes, that low two-story building near the trees. That's Martin Luther High School. Enrollment 500, if you count the animals in the biology classroom.

And that's not a bad place to start, because in the lab, past Thumper and Gene and Chuck and Floppsie and other caged creatures, are 11 students who have pulled chairs into a circle for their daily early morning prayer meeting.
