Sunday's Martin Luther King Jr. march in downtown Colorado Springs was about more than King's struggle for civil rights. It was about who will carry on his legacy.

Will it be Vanessa Brown, an 18-year-old Air Academy High School senior who thinks people don't know enough about King?

Or Jasmine Johnson, a sixth-grader at Irving Middle School who recently walked away from a fight?

Or Alexis Goggans, a 14-year-old Palmer High School freshman who delivered a moving speech before Sunday's march?

Perhaps it will be all of them.
