SAN JOSE, Calif. -- SAN JOSE, Calif., March 18 /PRNewswire/ -- The San Jose State University Spartans football team will face the Grambling State University Tigers in the inaugural Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Literacy Classic. The game is scheduled for 3 p.m. Pacific time on Saturday, August 23, 2003, at San Jose State University's Spartan Stadium and will feature the world-renowned Grambling Tiger Marching Band at halftime. The Literacy Classic marks the first NCAA football game of the year and will be nationally televised on ESPN2.
