Police arrest 3 after finding drugs in Jack London motel room

Alameda police seized Ecstasy pills, cocaine, crystal methamphetamine and more than a pound of marijuana Thursday while searching an Oakland hotel room after they received an anonymous tip about possible drug dealing.

The drugs discovered at the Jack London Inn on Embarcadero Way - where investigators also made three arrests - could fetch at least $10,000 on the street, police said.

Among those taken into custody was Ismael Eduardo Axtle, 25, a convicted felon who was reported to be in possession of two loaded handguns.
