It was a pleasure to learn from Tim Page's wonderful article ["A Splendid Display of 'Forsyte': The Saga Lives On," June 22] that I am not the only person who has consoled herself in these dark times with the reassuring and leisurely elegance of "The Forsyte Saga."
I have never seen an episode of either the BBC or the Granada videotaped versions. Although I have heard before that the BBC production is a delight, it is hard to imagine that any screen version could be any more evocative than John Galsworthy's prose.
