"The Forsyte Saga," the John Galsworthy epic that became the catalyst for PBS' long-running drama showcase "Masterpiece Theatre," returns Sunday at 9 with a two-hour premiere.

Based on the first two novels of several works that became known as "The Forsyte Saga," this new eight-hour production subsequently airs in weekly one-hour installments through Nov. 17. It's a story of love, lust, family, betrayal, hypocrisy and money, featuring beautiful houses and lovely costuming.
