Lee E. Mikles, co-founder, president and CEO of FutureFuel Corp. of Batesville, will be given the 2008 Horatio Alger Award and membership into the Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans, which recognizes individuals who achieve success through adversity, demonstrating and character. Two Arkansas high school scholars, Tralane R. Funches and Kelvin B. Parker of Little Rock, will receive $20,000 scholarships from the association. The ceremony will take place April 3-5 in Washington, D.C.
