WASHINGTON, Oct. 13 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Friday, October 15, 2004 marks the deadline for high school seniors to apply for a Horatio Alger Indiana Scholarship at http://www.horatioalger.org/ scholarships. Forty thousand dollars is available and will be awarded to sixteen deserving students in throughout Indiana. The scholarships target young people who have overcome adversity in their lives and want to pursue a college education. Each student selected will receive a two thousand five hundred dollar scholarship.
