WASHINGTON, Feb. 24 /U.S. Newswire/ -- 7 high school seniors from across the United States will each receive a $10,000 college scholarship from the Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans, Inc. (A complete list of the 2004 Horatio Alger National Scholars immediately follows this release). The Horatio Alger Association is the largest need-based scholarship program in the nation, awarding nearly $5 million in college scholarships annually.
