WASHINGTON, April 24 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Eighty-nine high school seniors from Broward, Martin and St. Lucie counties have been named as Horatio Alger Florida Scholars and will each receive a $2,500 college scholarship. These students provide an inspiring example of Florida's youth, having already demonstrated a desire to accomplish their goals, even in the face of adversity.
