We are hearing the term "Islamofascism" being bandied about in the media these days.

Shortly after World War II, I spent a year and a half in Italy, doing relief and reconstruction work with a unit of the American Friends Service Committee (Quakers). While there, I learned a few things about fascism in the land where it was invented (in its modern form, at least).
