Henry Adams ~ 1915-2006

At Miami's Westview Country Club in 1963, a foursome played the par three 17th hole.

The first golfer scored a four on the hole, a bogey. The second shot a par three and the third carded a two. The three men then challenged the fourth player to make a hole-in-one, which he proceeded to do.

It was one of seven holes-in-one that Henry Adams would shoot during his long golfing career. He would also score a double eagle, three shots under par, a rare achievement in golf.
