The College of Lake County's theater department will present the venerable children's classic "The Wind in the Willows" this week.
Based on Kenneth Grahame's book and adapted by Moses Goldberg, the play follows the adventures of Mr. Toad, Otter, Rat, Mole and Badger as they discover humans and their machines.
"As a kid, I loved the book that delved into animals and their relationship with human beings," said director and faculty member Thomas Mitchell.
