Ratty, Mole, Badger, Toad, and other characters from "The Wind in the Willows" come to life at Gloucester Stage, Thursdays to Sundays through Dec. 17.

The show is an adaptation of the Kenneth Grahame classic by playwright Alan Bennett. Directed by Jeremy Johnson, the tale of friendship and community features a cast of local adults and children, as well as Boston actors.
