AFTER a Nuneaton man waited five hours to be seen at George Eliot Hospital's accident and emergency department, KAREN HAMBRIDGE visited casualty to see first-hand how people felt about waiting for treatment . . . and got the views of the professionals at the sharp end

PEOPLE don't like waiting. Despite the British penchant for forming orderly queues, if your average Joe Bloggs is kept hanging around for more than 15 minutes, he gets a bit tetchy.

Not surprising then that people waiting in hospital casualty departments can become somewhat irritated.
