HEALTH chiefs are to review procedures at Nuneaton's George Eliot Hospital following a damning report into death rates.
The hospital had the highest mortality rate in a survey of 152 NHS trusts in England - 43 per cent above what was expected.
According to figures released by the Dr Foster Good Hospital Guide, the mortality rate at the George Eliot is 9.5 per cent - almost one-in-10 of acute patients.
