HEALTH chiefs in Nuneaton have responded positively to an independent watchdog's assessment of the town's George Eliot Hospital.

The cash-strapped hospital was given an automatic "weak" rating for its management of resources because of its much-publicised cash problems - and a "fair" rating for the quality of its services.
