(The Lariat) (U-WIRE) WACO, Texas -- In The Gifts of the Child Christ, the late George MacDonald wrote, "I write, not for the children, but for the childlike, whether they be of five, or fifty or seventy-five."

This appeal to the young at heart may be why both young and old are invited to gather at the 100th anniversary commemoration of MacDonald's death.
