When Linda Victor made a promise to her students at Mount Prospect's Robert Frost Elementary School, she fulfilled that pledge - 10 years later.
In 1990, during a 25th anniversary celebration of the District 59 school, students and teachers made a time capsule. At an assembly, class representatives placed in the box an item their room considered significant.
Victor, the library/media center director, and other teachers told students the time capsule would be opened in 2000.
