The road not taken could lead to fame and fortune. The Robert Frost Foundation of Lawrence is offering a featured reading and a $1,000 prize to the New England author of the best poem written in "the spirit of Robert Frost."

Poets who reside in New England should send four copies of a single poem (include name, address and phone number on only one of the four copies) to the Robert Frost Foundation Poetry Award, Attn. Matthew Kraunelis, 90 Mt. Vernon St., Lawrence, MA 01843. A $10 judges' reading fee should be enclosed. The deadline for submission is Oct. 1.
