Your brilliant dissection of Morris "the mole" (he did burrow into the Reagan family's confidence) touches on many fine points (" `Ed: A biography of Edmund Morris,' " Editorial, Oct. 1). Although one could spend forever picking Mr. Morris apart, one need go no further than his classic comment on President Reagan's missed opportunities during his famous "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall" speech.
