Robert Frost's "On Talk of Peace at This Time": a third version of an uncollected manuscript poem.

A third version exists of Robert Frost's war poem 'On Talk of Peace at This Time.' The poem concerns World War One, and it was written on Dec 6, 1916. Two manuscript versions have been found from Dec 6 and Dec 7, 1916. The third manuscript is also from Dec 6, 1916, and differs from the other two versions in nine of its lines. The complete poem is printed, with a listing of differences among the three versions.

In a letter to Amy Lowell on October 22, 1917, Robert Frost explained that there was very little in his poetry about war.
