Eight Poems From A Boy's Will

Introduction:

A Boy's Will was Frost's first published book, and appeared in London in
1913, when the poet was almost forty years old. It contained thirty poems, of
which these eight have been the most popular. The poems are lyric in quality,
in contrast to the dramatic form of his immediately following book, North of'
Boston. The poems range from his first published poem, "My Butterfly," 1894,
to some finished shortly before the book appeared; thus they represent the
work of almost twenty years.
