Chicago will be hearing a lot from composer William Bolcom this fall. Lyric Opera of Chicago will present the world premiere of his opera, "McTeague," based on a Frank Norris novel and directed by Robert Altman. And the Chicago Symphony Orchestra will perform his Symphony No. 5.
